Aida Morales Recap

Aida Morales is the Chief of Staff at Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation and has been with the company for over 4 years. Her first position was as an executive assistant, and in that role, she was responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative needs of the president and senior staff and served as a liaison between management and staff. Aida understood that being an executive assistant meant working with partners, and she knew it would take time to build relationships and trust. She was fearless in going out into the community, meeting people, listening to concerns, having tough conversations, or hearing difficult feedback.

As Chief of Staff, she is on the front line taking care of all the administrative issues, managing expenses, coordinating meetings, ensuring all policies are followed, and ensuring a proper workflow. The Chief of Staff also understands that relationships are crucial for any organization to succeed, and it’s through those relationships that the reputation of Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation is built. Aida consistently makes herself available to speak with anyone with questions or concerns about Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation.

While the Chief of Staff reports directly to the president, she oversees the administrative needs of all Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation staff. Aida feels it’s important to build strong relationships with employees and encourage them to feel comfortable expressing themselves and their concerns so that they can focus on delivering great results. One of Aida’s biggest professional accomplishments must be the team she built at RIO. Her creation comprises capable and dependable employees who strive to get customer results daily. The team came about after she saw a definite need for it.

The idea behind her team of top professionals is that they provide customer service to all of RIO’s clients. It’s why they’re the ones who look at customer feedback and address specific issues when they arise – without having to wait for a manager or CEO to do it.

Before joining RIO, Aida Morales worked as an Administrative Assistant at Bilingual Care Inc., where she gained experience translating and drafting executive-level letters, emails, and memos for senior executives. She also understands that if the CEO wants something done, it’s best to follow through and not hold back. In addition, she had the opportunity to handle billing services and filing of subpoenas, which gave her an understanding of what it takes to get things done confidently and effectively.
