Damien Granderson is a lifelong entrepreneur and visionary with a deep passion for film, media, and technology. His career has spanned scripted and documentary films, producing commercials for national brands and writing and directing music videos for Indie bands in Chicago.
Over his 30-year career in law, Damien has established a reputation as an active player on the music scene. Entertainment media Attorney Damien Granderson is known for his groundbreaking work with top ranked celebrities. For instance, his work with Wiz Khalifa and Miley Cyrus during their meteoric rise from up-and-comers to global superstars. Today, Damien manages over two dozen recording artists worldwide, including R&B sensation Kehlani and pop sensation Landon Cube (featured on NBC’s The Voice).
Damien Granderson also led the creation of Miley’s multi-platinum management firm, Flawless, and her growing digital platform for artists. In addition to his work in the music industry, he has overseen several high-profile digital projects, including leading the rollout of Google’s YouTube Rewind, which saw over 700 million views from advertisers across 130 countries.
He was also Google’s first music director, signing several artists to their first label deal. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for SESAC, the world’s largest performing rights organization. Damien Granderson received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
Also, he holds a B.A. in International Relations from Claremont McKenna College.
