The Los Angeles Business Wire House Capital, the venture arm of Launch House, launched today along with a $10 million debut fund to continue the organization’s mission of connecting and assisting outstanding entrepreneurs. Fund investments prioritize Launch House members and other early-stage, high-growth businesses. The organization will benefit from the creation of a flywheel enabled by House Capital, as the majority of the fund’s earnings will be reinvested into the company. It can improve the quality of their programming and services to members by using the funds they get from this expansion.
Brett Goldstein, Jacob Peters, and Michael Houck saw an opportunity to leverage on their relationships with companies and therefore formed House Capital. House Capital has partnered with other prominent investors before, including Y Combinator and Sequoia. When House Capital invests in a company, the company’s founders become full members of the House Capital business community and gain access to all of its resources, such as fundraising assistance, membership in virtual cohorts, and invitations to exclusive retreats in far-flung locales.
