Krishen Iyer is an Encinitas-based entrepreneur, author, and international speaker. He was an early employee of ATS (now Experian) and served as Vendare Software‘s CEO. In 1997 he founded a consulting company called Purple Cipher, which specializes in producing a transformative change in established organizations.

Krishen Iyer holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, two Master’s degrees from the Harvard School of Business, and one from Stanford University.

In 35 years with IBM, he held several leadership roles and was a pioneer in breakthrough innovations in sales forecasting, customer management, and customer loyalty programs. Krishen Iyer also led IBM’s launch into the $5 billion business software market by creating the IBM Global Sales Force Automation program, which served as an early precursor to CRM applications for companies like Salesforce.com.
