Randy Douthit always had a feeling he would end up working in the television industry. He was already learning how to put on entertaining shows as a kid when living with his grandparents and went on to work with an award-winning children’s program when he was in his early twenties. He also worked with a morning talk show based in Seattle earlier on in his life before going to work with CNN as a director and executive producer for a popular show.
Randy Douthit was recently asked what book he would recommend that people read. He revealed that he believes a book written by Walter Russell named the Secret of Light is on the top of his list. He also talked about how Mr. Russell suggested that meditation can help to come up with inventions or solve problems, which is something he thinks everyone should do every morning. He personally finds quiet time for himself every day so he can quiet down his mind and discover new ideas that show up when all of the overthinking has stopped.
Randy Douthit is the brilliant mind who came up with the idea for the Larry King Live show. He also helped to oversee the creation of the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and was also involved with “Judge Judy.” When working, he spends a lot of his time taking calls and preparing for studio production for whatever show he is focused on. He helps bring new ideas to life by putting himself in the shoes of other people and giving them what it is they hope to see.
Instead of being left behind, as the world continues to transition into streaming forms of entertainment, Randy Douthit is embracing change. He has been around long enough to see many different changes in his industry and knows how to roll with the punches. He has suggested that anyone who wants to succeed should do the best they can and never give up. He also feels it is extremely useful to work hard to accommodate others and get along with them, because a person never knows when they may need an ally instead of an enemy.
