Roy Beck

Roy Beck is a speaker and author on the subject of immigration. He has been president of NumbersUSA, a grassroots organization that advocates for tighter control over U.S. borders, since 1996. He has been published in The Washington Post, Newsweek Magazine, and other national magazines and filmed for networks such as PBS, Fox News Channel, and CCTV-America.

Roy Beck has spoken at over 700 colleges and universities since 1992 to discuss immigration. He has also been invited to lecture at numerous professional conferences, including the Aspen Institute, the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Manufacturers.

His books include Rush to Judgment: The Inside Story of the Preemptive War Against Iraq (2004), which was named Connor S. Kilpatrick Book of the Year by the Washington Times and a selection of The New York Times/Harper Collins. His other books include Beyond Amnesty (1999), Crossing the Border: A Citizen’s Guide to Immigration Reform (2002), and Immigration Solution: How To Fix Our Broken System (2005).

In addition to his speaking engagements, Roy Beck has moderated and participated in hundreds of radio debates. He was voted one of the most effective speakers for college audiences by Readers Views. Mr. Beck also served as a debate captain in high school, community college, and university. He has also received awards from his local community for helping organize an organization that provides affordable housing for local seniors.

Roy Beck has been interviewed on television, radio, and online outlets throughout the country. His editorials are published in dozens of newspapers nationwide, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Newsday. He also writes articles for numerous websites.

In 1992, Roy Beck founded NumbersUSA to educate citizens about the need to reduce immigration into the United States.
