Tom Keane Launches Intelligent Business Solutions

 Tom Keane Microsoft is a Microsoft Partner. In the early nineties, the software developer started as a hardware consultant for various Silicon Valley startups. In 1994, he was asked to join one of his clients, an internet startup that needed help in setting up systems and networks. Tom’s expertise evolved from being just a hardware consultant to that of an IT consultant.

The software developer and engineer has been helping other companies set up their information technology infrastructures. In 1995, his old client became known as Yahoo! and the company grew exponentially with revenues going into the billions.Tom Keane Microsoft was helping Yahoo! set up their systems and networks. The dot-com era as well as the high technology industry started to take off.

Software developer Tom Keane Microsoft was getting more IT contract offers than they could handle. The cloud services engineer decided to start his own company—a Microsoft Partner—called Intelligent Business Solutions (IBS) in 1995. In 1996, IBS was awarded with Microsoft’s “Excellence Award”, an honor given to less than 1% of Microsoft’s partners worldwide. The award is based on three key areas.

This, for their technical expertise, customer satisfaction, and business development. In 1997, IBS was named Microsoft’s “Best Partner” in the United States. In 1999, Tom Keane was asked to join Microsoft as the President of the company (Crunchbase).

 

Tom Keane On Hybrid Cloud Technologies

The software developer was the first non-Microsoft employee to be hired by Microsoft to lend his expertise and leadership skills in their Partner program. The year 1999 marked a turning point in Tom Keane´s career—he had officially become a part of the Microsoft family. Keane still heads IBS today and has personally been with Microsoft since 1996 as an independent business consultant for Microsoft. 

The software developer and engineer Tom Keane is also a partner, who has a hand in the planning and strategy of Microsoft’s global Partner program. He holds MSCE and MCSD certifications. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) who offers technical training for various Microsoft products. Keane is a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Small Business in Silicon Valley. In addition, he was appointed to the Board of Directors at California State University, Hayward (CSU-H) and is currently Chairman of the Board.
